These tractors are gods, they can pull all the equipment you'll ever need without any struggle. The MF 7700-7726 is another great machine, cheaper at the beginning (oly 207k €/$) but more expensive on the long run (320 €/$ per day) Here the king is the Case IH Puma CVX 240: only 214k €/$ and 235 €/$ maintenance fee, a steal. They're great because they can handle all the medium-high range equipment, both front and rear mowers at the same time and especially the Horsch Pronto 9 sowing machine, which is the best thing you can buy in the whole game. The Fendt Vario 720 seems better since it's only 195 €/$ per day and has 200 HP but it costs a whopping 185k €/$, which means that it'll get cheaper than the Valtra after 600 days The Valtra N 174 is the king of this bracket: 185HP, 139k €/$ and only 210 €/$ maintenance fee. Great for a starting farm since they're relatively unexpensive but can handle mid-range equipment (6mt cultivators, sowing machines etc) without any problem. If you need a small machine to use for animals just get the Kramer K元0 which is both cheap and incredibly versatile ![]() They can't handle midrange equipment, which means that they aren't better than the ones you're given for free -> wasted money. Lowly-useless: tractors with less than 170Hp. Regarding horsepower there are five brackets: "lowly-useless", low, medium, high, "highly-useless". ![]() ![]() The most important things to look at are horsepower, price and maintenance cost then there're some minor bonus points, like max speed, type of wheels supported and reverse drive control "some tractors are definitely better in every way, others are absolutely terrible (I'm looking at you Hürlimann H 488) I found a post from a while back by /u/Mufficida a useful reference - copied below
